As a Postpartum Doula and Breastfeeding Counselor, I focus on the vital concept of "Mothering the Mother" and the importance of postpartum support for new parents.
Below, you'll find a list of support services designed to empower, educate, and ensure you feel heard as you transition into your new role.
4th Quarter Connections – Postpartum Support Session & Coaching
Age range: For moms with babies up to 12 months
This is a 4-week session (1, 60 min. class/week for 3 weeks) Total of 3, 60-minute classes AND 1, 60 min. follow up to discuss any questions/concerns you may have thought of following the 3 classes. Additional coaching, resources & support can be given during this time. Class 1- Self-care (60 min.) Class 2 - Identity Shift (60 min.) Class 3 - Transitioning back to work (60 min.) Class 4 - Safe Space - Open Discussion for questions/concerns (60 min.) *Examples include sleep deprivation, sibling support, emotional support* This live video session is focused on the importance of Postpartum wellness & supporting moms during their postpartum journey. Each session will include a presentation of the topic being covered, 1:1 support through discussion, time for questions, tips on how to navigate those first several months/1st year postpartum & a safe space for you to openly discuss challenges you may have faced thus far. The purpose of this session is for you to feel supported, resonated with, connected & empowered as you transition into motherhood. Total Sessions: 4, 60 min. video presentations/sessions Cost: $200
Breastfeeding/Pumping/Bottle Feeding
Consult Call
Age range: Prenatal - 12 months Postnatal
During this 45 minute video consult, we will cover any of the following: Breastfeeding basics, pumping, bottles, latch, bottle aversions, milk supply, transitioning from breast to bottle &/or weaning, feeding schedules, feeding to sleep etc. Prior to our consult, you will be recieve a questionnaire to complete regarding your concerns. This will allow us to help utilize our time together, while ensuring all areas of distress have been met. Cost: $75
Postpartum Preparation Educational 1:1 Class Session (4th trimester)
Age range: 2nd/3rd trimester prenatal
Are you not sure what to expect following the birth of your baby? Then this class is for you! During this educational presentation, we will discuss exactly what to expect during your postpartum journey. During session #1, we will focus on the following: Immediate postpartum practices, Golden hour & baby’s instinctive phases, what happens with your body following birth, the importance of postpartum recovery, your postpartum mind (mood disorders & symptoms) & tips for adjusting to your new role as mom & dad. During session #2, we will focus on the following: Taking care of a newborn/baby basics, safe sleep practices, breastfeeding basics, postpartum help/reference guide, postpartum checklist & postpartum must haves for you & for baby. This educational based class is a great resource for what to expect during your journey into parenthood. You will feel prepared, empowered & ready for your new role with this supportive guide to help lead the way. There will be plenty of time for questions & supportive coaching, as I help you prepare for one of the most rewarding experiences you will encounter as mom & dad! Total sessions: 2, 60 min. live class presentations Cost: $150
Postpartum Planning & Postpartum Support Coaching
Age range: Prenatal 2nd & 3rd Trimester & postpartum
There will be 1, 60-minute class session that focuses on Postpartum support systems. This class will take place as a presentation that emphasizes the importance of establishing a support system prior to giving birth, so you are prepared after baby’s arrival. Following this class, there will be 3, 60-minute sessions to prepare for your customized postpartum plan. Your postpartum plan will cover the following: Preparation for parental leave, postpartum recovery, visitor’s policy, food planning, breastfeeding/bottle feeding, parenting roles, sleep/rest, practical/emotional support, sibling support, pet support, parent time, community support & mental health support. These sessions will involve a lot of questions that will help prepare you for life after baby. Partners are encouraged to attend, as they will also be involved in the postpartum planning process. Following these sessions, I will take all of your information & create a postpartum plan for you to use as a guide following birth. This will be a great resource for you & your partner to refer to as you navigate parenthood. You will also be given a postpartum “must haves” list for you & baby so you can be prepared & have essentials on hand following delivery. We will hold an additional 60-minute session for you to review the plan & discuss any questions you may have. Once baby has arrived, you will have 2, 30-minute sessions to utilize for any questions, concerns, suggestions and/or further guidance. You will also have 4 weeks of unlimited email support following the birth of your baby (At least 1 correspondence/day) to reach out with any questions, concerns, suggestions and/or further guidance As a Postpartum Doula, my ultimate goal is for you to feel prepared & supported with an emphasis on maintaining your postpartum wellness following the birth of your baby. Navigating parenthood comes with many “firsts” & unknowns. I will be your support system & offer extensive coaching as you embrace the ups & downs of parenthood. In Home Postpartum Doula Services

My "in home" Postpartum Doula services are intended for you to feel supported, connected with & empowered during your postpartum journey. Following the birth of your baby, your body needs rest as you recover from delivery. Having a support system to assist you with practical & emotional support, allows you to focus on your Postpartum Wellness as you embrace the transition into motherhood. Daytime Support = Household assistance with dishes, dishwasher, laundry & tidying up Breastfeeding assistance/tips Meal prep Caring for newborn while you enjoy self care and/or sleep Errands Washing of bottles/pump parts Emotional support Establishment of healthy routines for baby $40/hr. daytime 45/hr. nighttime Min. of 4 hrs. / visit Overnight Support = Caring for newborn while you sleep This service is intended for you to be able to sleep during the night. When baby wakes, I either bring them to you for breastfeeding or I bottle feed. Following feeds, I change baby, swaddle & settle baby back to sleep. With overnight support, you wake up feeling rested & refreshed Being a Postpartum Doula & Sleep Coach has allowed me to watch the beauty of parenthood unfold, as some of your most difficult days have turned into your greatest successes! *Willing to travel for additional rate based on availability*
